Summer Love

Saturday, July 13th was a great day! We were able to partner with St. Vincent de Paul of Los Angles, Stella’s Socks and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference in order to participate in the Summer Love Community Resource Fair. The event took place at the Cardinal Manning Center located in downtown Los Angeles where we were able to come together and provide the homeless with underwear, socks, other various articles of clothing as well as hot meals and healthcare.

The Cardinal Manning Center is a homeless shelter in downtown Los Angeles’ Skid Row area that offers a comprehensive program for adult men experiencing homelessness. The program provides secure transitional housing, permanent housing search and placement, medical / healthcare needs as well as education, job training and placement.

The best part is that we were able to donate over 200 pair of underwear to those most in need. Underwear may be an everyday commodity that a lot people don’t think twice about but to the homeless fresh, crispy clean new underwear are highly valued and extremely important to the comfort and confidence required to make a meaningful and sustained positive change in their lives.

We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community and would like to thank all of our customers and brand advocates. For every pair of underwear you purchased we were able donate a pair to the homeless in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles. Thank you for your support and for making this all possible.
